Job summary

Core One is a team-oriented, growing company focused on solving national security challenges. The Contract Security Officer will manage IC contract security programs, coordinate with internal and government security teams, and ensure continued regulatory compliance.

A TS/SCI clearance is required, with responsibilities spanning SCIF operations, personnel security, and incident response. The candidate will review DD254s, ICDs, and ICS directives, and will lead security alignment across contracts,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent relevant experience considered.
• 5+ years in industrial/security contract work within IC/DoD or federal contracting.
• Experience supporting SCI, SAP, or other compartmented security requirements.
• Familiarity with NISPOM, ICDs, ICS and agency-specific security policies.
• Experience with personnel security, classified information protection, access, and visits.

Responsibilities

• Oversee security administration for IC contracts and programs, ensuring requirements are understood and implemented.
• Review and interpret security requirements in DD254s, SCGs, clauses, and SOW/PWS.
• Assess compliance with ICDs, ICS, NISPOM, and contract procedures.
• Serve as primary security contact with government reps, SSOs, CSAs, and program personnel.
• Coordinate with Senior FSO to integrate IC requirements into the industrial security program.
• Manage security for SCI, SAP, and other compartmented requirements.
• Support SCIFs and secure workspaces with government authorities.
• Handle personnel security indoctrinations, debriefings, and eligibility tracking.
• Maintain security records, rosters, training, and artifacts per requirements.
