Job Overview

Allegro Home Delivery, a rapidly growing company in the last mile home delivery market, is seeking an Owner Operator/Independent Service Provider Driving Team for appliance delivery and basic installation in Charlotte, NC. Appliances include refrigerators, freezers, ranges, hoods, microwaves, dishwashers, trash compactors, washers, dryers, and other home appliances.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and install appliances accurately and on time; training available.
• Use basic tools to assemble, adjust, and install appliances.
• Follow local codes and manufacturer instructions for installations.
• Provide excellent customer service and communication.
• Lift appliances weighing up to 70 lbs.

Requirements

• Operate a 26ft box truck with lift gate.
• Provide a two-person delivery team.
• Own personal set of tools.
• Active MC & DOT number with FMCSA (assistance available to obtain).
• Valid SSN/FEIN, current COI, and valid Driver’s License with a good record.
• Previous appliance installation experience.
• Minimum age: 21 years old (18 if non-driver).
