Job summary

FIS is seeking a Consultant II in Milwaukee to drive data conversion and implementation for Integrated Banking Systems (IBS). You will analyze customer data and business processes, design accurate data mappings, and work with clients and technical teams to ensure data integrity and successful system transitions.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5+ years in banking, with strong analytical and communication skills to support remote and onsite engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance or related field.
• 5+ years of banking environment experience.
• Experience with data mapping, validation, analysis, and conversion for banking/financial services systems.
• Ability to translate business requirements into clear technical specs.
• Strong customer service and communication skills for remote and onsite engagements.
• Experience managing multiple priorities with high accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer data files, workflows, and business requirements to develop data conversion strategies.
• Create and maintain field-to-field data mapping documentation for accurate data migration.
• Validate and reconcile conversion data for accuracy and completeness.
• Configure customer-specific parameters and system settings within IBS solutions.
• Execute testing activities and review conversion results to improve data quality.
• Collaborate with clients and technical teams to translate requirements into specs.
• Lead readiness reviews coordinating testing, validation, and operational preparedness.
• Provide troubleshooting and client support during implementation and conversion events.
• Communicate project status, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders.
• Support continuous process improvements to enhance conversion efficiency and customer experience.
