Responsibilities include designing systems, maintaining documentation, upgrading hardware, automating processes, and supporting development teams while aligning with company standards and budgets.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in a computer-related field or equivalent.
• Minimum five years of IT experience focusing on IBM Power System (IBM i / AS400), networking, Windows Servers.
• Programming, scripting, and automation experience using SQL, RPG, CL, etc.

Responsibilities

• Designs, implements, and tests IBM Power Systems and computer-system solutions, including disaster recovery.
• Secures IBM Power Systems and computer systems by monitoring, controlling, and evaluating the environment; troubleshoot performance.
• Upgrades hardware and maintains inventory; reviews licensing and vendor relations.
• Designs and maintains automation to increase efficiency.
• Provides support and training to IT staff.
• Implements, secures, backs up, and documents networking-related systems.
• Coordinates with development teams to optimize workloads.
• Manages budgets and expenses; performs other duties as assigned.
