Job summary

Ampstek is seeking an IBM MQ with Solace – Technology Lead for a Phoenix, AZ contract engagement. Onsite 4 days/week with 1 day remote, role focuses on enterprise messaging, middleware administration, and production support.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on IBM MQ v8/v9+ and Solace PubSub+ expertise, Linux/UNIX/AIX, and strong incident management skills to coordinate with onsite/offshore teams. Certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• 4+ years IT experience in IBM MQ, Solace, middleware, or infrastructure.
• Hands-on IBM MQ v8/v9+ and Solace PubSub+ experience.
• Proficiency with Linux/UNIX/AIX, shell scripting, SSL/TLS, authentication and access controls.
• Production monitoring/troubleshooting with Splunk, Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus or similar tools.
• Experience with incident management, outage support, RCA, change management, HA/DR, and failover.
• Strong communication, documentation, and onsite/offshore team coordination.
• IBM MQ/Solace certification is a plus.
