Job summary

Intermountain Health in Utah seeks an IBD Specialist to join an established inflammatory bowel disease team at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray.

The physician will dedicate at least 50% of clinical time to IBD, collaborate with GI providers, PCPs, and surgeons, participate in conferences, and have opportunities for clinical research. A competitive package includes base salary, signing bonus, relocation, and loan repayment options.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical school.
• US ACGME residency in Internal Medicine.
• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine with IBD or Gastroenterology.
• Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to complete Intermountain Health credentialing.
• Visa sponsorship will be reviewed on an individual basis.

Responsibilities

• Practice at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah.
• Dedicate at least 50% of clinical care time to IBD care.
• Share call schedule with a 1:5 call frequency and receive additional call pay for extra shifts.
• Work within a network of affiliated Intermountain Medical Group primary care and specialty care physicians with a 1:2 APP to Physician ratio.
• Participate in monthly GI educational conferences including IBD case conference, GI multidisciplinary conferences, and annual gastroenterology conferences.
• Engage in community outreach programming and rural telehealth program.
• Opportunity to be involved in clinical research, if desired.
