Baystate Health in western Massachusetts is seeking a Gastroenterologist specializing in Inflammatory Bowel Disease for Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. You will lead a regional IBD program with strong referrals and collaboration with colorectal surgery, pathology, radiology and research, and you will have a faculty appointment at UMass Chan Medical School‑Baystate.

The role requires ABMS BC/BE in Gastroenterology with training or interest in IBD; call is 1:8 weekends, and compensation

Qualifications

• ABMS BC/BE in Gastroenterology with training or interest in IBD.

Responsibilities

• Lead a regional, multidisciplinary IBD program with a strong referral network and support from colorectal surgery, pathology, radiology and clinical research.
• Teach GI fellows and IM residents and participate in academic programs, conferences and lectures.
• Call is 1:8 weekends.
