Baystate Health is seeking a Gastroenterologist to join Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts. This position offers a comprehensive general gastroenterology practice with potential subspecialty development and academic involvement with UMass Chan Medical School–Baystate.

You will be part of an established division of gastroenterology, with opportunities to teach GI fellows and internal medicine residents, participate in academic programs, and collaborate with a dedicated team

Qualifications

• ABMS Board Certified/Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.

Responsibilities

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS

• Our integrated Division of Gastroenterology consists of 14 Gastroenterologist, 1 Advanced Endoscopist Fellow, and 10 APPs across our academic medical center and community hospitals.
• Comprehensive general gastroenterology practice with opportunities to develop subspecialty interests, including advanced endoscopy, IBD, hepatology, motility, or other areas based on clinical interest and departmental needs.
• Faculty appointment to UMass Chan Medical School–Baystate, with opportunities to teach 6 GI fellows, internal medicine residents, and participate in academic programs, conferences, and lectures.
• Call rotation is 1:12
