Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required.
• Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) required.
• BLS certification at date of hire required.
• Six months of lactation support experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide breastfeeding assessment and support in inpatient settings.
• Support mothers whose infants cannot breastfeed to establish milk supply.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and other teams on feeding interventions.
• Deliver breastfeeding education to patients, staff and regional partners.
• Provide post-discharge breastfeeding support via phone and in-person visits.
