Job summary

Qualifications
- Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program.
- New York State RN license and BLS certification.
- Current IBLCE certification.
- Lactation Consultant course completed.
- Minimum of 2 years Certified Lactation RN experience.
Responsibilities
- Performs a complete assessment of the breastfeeding mother and infant.
- Analyzes assessment information to identify concerns.
- Implements a plan of care for the breastfeeding mother and infant.
- Manages the Breast Pump Discharge Program to ensure pump access at home.
- Educates parents on infant feeding and provides discharge resources.
- Ensures compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
- Supports Donor Milk program practices per regulation.
