Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a highly skilled Investment Banking Associate to join the Financial Institutions Group within Banks.

You will participate in the full cycle of transactional execution, from marketing pitches to internal committee memoranda and client presentations, while leading with analysts and associates. As part of the global Associate class, you will develop core investment banking skills across valuation, modeling, and deal execution.

Qualifications

• Prior work experience in an investment banking front office role.
• Academic background from a top-tier educational institution.
• Strong financial modelling skills.
• Understands transaction cycle and steps, execution oriented.
• Excellent communication with senior professionals and stakeholders.
• Self-directed and highly motivated, able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop content for strategic meetings with clients regarding M&A or capital market transactions
• Interact with senior team members and client management teams on a daily basis to execute transactions and discuss strategic alternatives
• Defining, guiding and reviewing detailed valuation analysis, including DCF, trading comparables, transaction comparables and LBO analyses
• Defining, guiding and reviewing detailed combination and other financial analyses in the context of M&A transactions or pitch situations
• Provide leadership, mentorship and supervision to Associates and Analysts
• Participate in graduate recruiting
