Summary

TUV Rheinland N.A., a leading provider of ATIC (Assurance, Testing, Inspection, and Certification) Services, is seeking an IATF16949:2016 3rd party Lead Auditor to join our team. We offer a full range of business process audit and support services, including management systems certification, custom supplier audits, and training.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Perform and document audits following relevant standards and customer requirements, possibly leading a team.
  2. Review and forward audit reports and client responses to the Automotive Program Manager.
  3. Communicate compliance issues and standards to client management.
  4. Evaluate system conformance to product processes and specifications.
  5. Maintain strong professional relationships with customers.
  6. Maintain and expand technical expertise in specific product fields.
  7. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Full Pass/Green Status Certificate (provide ADP Certificate Number).
  • Broad knowledge of domestic and international compliance laws and regulations.
  • Ability to interpret documentation and communicate with technical professionals.
  • Highly organized, able to work independently.
  • Technical expertise in automotive industry.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally; valid passport and driver’s license required.
Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
Experience
  • 2 years conducting global regulatory compliance audits to TS/IATF 16949.
  • 4 years in the automotive industry with experience in quality assurance or OEM requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Certifications
  • IATF 16949 Lead Auditor Certification (IATF approved).
