Job summary

Flourish Research in Miami, FL is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support timely processing, processing of lab specimens, and regulatory compliance. Onsite role with 40 hours weekly and occasional travel.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience and 1–3+ years in clinical/biological research, with IATA and OSHA knowledge and strong attention to safety and privacy.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience in a research lab.
• Experience: 1–3+ years in clinical/biological research.
• Able to perform phlebotomy and handling of specimens per protocol.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow sponsor protocols for specimen collection and handling.
• Obtain, process and ship specimens per OSHA and IATA rules.
• Maintain IATA certification within the lab and clinic.
• Protect patient confidentiality per HIPAA and agreements.
• Report adverse events or incidents promptly.
