Job summary

Popular is seeking an IAM Security Specialist to lead governance of MSSP identity access activities, ensuring proper user provisioning, certifications, and access controls across systems in a regulated banking environment.

The role emphasizes collaboration with stakeholders, escalation management, and process improvements while maintaining strict adherence to security policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, cybersecurity, computer science, or related discipline preferred, or equivalent work experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in identity and access management, access governance, security administration, IT audit, compliance, or related role.
• Experience with IAM platforms (Saviynt, SailPoint) and IAM technologies (AD, LDAP, SSO).
• Understanding of RBAC, least privilege, and access certification concepts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee MSSP user account lifecycle activities and access management.
• Validate password resets and access requests for timely resolution and compliance.
• Coordinate access management incident response and remediation actions.
• Identify IAM process improvements and automate where possible.
• Review and guide MSSP certification campaigns and evidence.
• Support RBAC lifecycle and governance improvements.
• Maintain IAM documentation and audit evidence.
