Job summary

Cloudflare in Austin, TX is offering an EIAM Business Enablement & Operations Intern (Fall 2026). This on-site, full-time internship supports the IAM team with securing and accelerating Cloudflare’s operations.

You will learn how to defend systems at scale, contribute to access management initiatives, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. The program emphasizes a security-first mindset, curiosity, and hands-on experience.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Google Sheets for filtering, sorting, VLOOKUP, and basic data manipulation.
• Familiarity with SQL is a significant plus for querying logs or user tables.
• Understanding of roles, groups, and permissions, including least privilege.
• Ability to use Google Docs and Wiki for clear documentation.
• Clear and professional verbal and written communication with stakeholders.
• Demonstrated critical thinking and drive to learn new technologies.
• Curiosity, empathy and ability to get things done.
• Requires a minimum 12-week summer internship.
• In-office 3-5 days a week in the Austin office.

Responsibilities

• Execute a specialized security project over 12 weeks to improve the defensive posture.
• Contribute to development and maintenance of user access review dashboards and metrics.
• Perform group analysis to document organizational descriptions and ownership mandates.
• Support RBAC implementation and strategic use.
• Collaborate with Legal, People, Engineering, and Finance to integrate security.
• Work with a mentor and present your project to the company.
• Engage with executives and leadership, and contribute to Cloudflare blogs.
