Job summary

Consulting Solutions in Dallas–Fort Worth area seeks an Identity and Access Management Lead to translate strategy and designs into executable work plans, procedures, controls, and implementation activities. Qualifications

• Seven or more years in IAM, identity operations, cybersecurity operations, ITSM, infrastructure operations, or related discipline.
• Experience leading operational work across IAM tickets, access requests, approvals, escalations, and remediation activities.
• Strong understanding of identity governance, access lifecycle, privileged access, MFA, AD, Entra ID, and enterprise IAM operating models.
• Experience using Jira or a comparable work-management or ticketing platform.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder meetings and technical design sessions.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily IAM operational execution across access requests, approvals, tickets, escals, reviews, exceptions, and remediation activities.
• Serve as the primary operational contact for IAM stakeholders, technology teams, application owners, security, audit, and business partners.
• Manage IAM work items in Jira, prioritization, assignment, status tracking, aging, dependencies, and escalation.
• Perform or coordinate level-two reviews and approvals for identity, access, entitlement, privileged-access, and exception requests.
• Establish operating rhythms for daily follow-up, weekly work reviews, risk tracking, metrics, and leadership reporting.
• Monitor ticket queues, access-request backlogs, aging work, recurring issues, control exceptions, and ownership questions.
• Coordinate with platform teams on Entra ID, AD, Saviynt, Privileged Access Management, MFA, secrets management, and app integrations.
• Partner with IAM architect to convert designs into executable work plans, procedures, controls, and activities.
• Identify bottlenecks, unclear ownership, and opportunities for automation or standardization.
• Help define and maintain IAM procedures, runbooks, escalation paths, approval matrices, service expectations, and operating docs.
• Coordinate with change management teams when new processes/tools/controls are introduced.
• Ensure analysts follow through on data findings, remediation actions, and audit requests.
• Produce concise operational metrics and status reporting for leadership.
