Job summary

Targa Resources seeks a Manager of Identity and Access Management to lead the IAM team, improve Okta capabilities, and automate identity lifecycle processes. You will drive operational discipline, partner with cybersecurity, and mentor IAM analysts to enhance security and efficiency across our systems.

You will develop runbooks, SLA-driven processes, and robust documentation while collaborating with technology and business stakeholders to balance security with user experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT, cybersecurity, or related field.
• 7+ years in Identity and Access Management or related tech discipline.
• Proven leadership of technical and operating teams.
• Experience managing IAM services, incidents, SLAs, metrics, and improvements.
• Experience developing SOPs, runbooks, and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of identity lifecycle, authentication, SSO, MFA, and access governance.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily IAM operations and ensure requests, incidents, and activities meet service levels.
• Develop and monitor IAM metrics, trends, SLAs, recurring issues, and improvements.
• Identify process gaps, reduce manual work, improve response times, and enhance user experience.
• Oversee SOPs, runbooks, knowledge articles, and documentation updates.
• Establish ownership, escalation paths, and quality expectations across IAM services.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity, HR, Audit, and business teams to improve end‑to‑end delivery.
• Provide technical leadership for Okta-focused engineering initiatives.
