Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an IAM Integration Engineer to own Okta, SSO, MFA, and identity integration initiatives for a leading insurance client. You will architect, implement, and support identity solutions, driving critical integrations with developers, architects, and stakeholders.

The role requires senior Okta expertise, ability to independently lead projects, and to scale the identity ecosystem across cloud and on‑prem resources. Strong communication and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years hands-on Okta administration, integrations, and SSO
• Experience with Okta Identity Engine and managing SAML/OIDC integrations
• Hands-on Okta APIs, OAuth, scopes, service accounts, and API tokens
• Experience developing Okta Inline Hooks and Okta Workflows
• Experience Infrastructure-as-Code tooling (Pulumi or Terraform)
• Ability to lead and own multiple projects independently
• Experience deploying cloud resources via Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
• Experience integrating enterprise apps and APIs
• Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills
• Self-starter mentality with drive to improve state quo

The ideal candidate is a seasoned Okta professional who can independently architect, implement, and support identity and access management solutions while collaborating with developers, architects, and business stakeholders. This engineer will lead the delivery of SAML/OIDC integrations, Okta workflows, API-based solutions, and infrastructure-as-code deployments, while helping standardize and scale the organization's identity ecosystem. They will also serve as an escalation point for troubleshooting authentication, application access, and identity related issues. The team is looking for an experienced self-starter who can immediately add value, drive projects forward, and serve as a trusted technical resource without requiring significant oversight.
