Job summary

CTG is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our team. The Senior DE will own end-to-end data pipelines and contribute to analytics and reporting for an IAM data engagement.

You will build identity source pipelines, implement data quality, and collaborate with Mayo data engineering team on Gold-level models and BI semantic modeling using Power BI. Strong Python, DBT, Airflow skills are required; excellent English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years data engineering with BigQuery and GCP.
• End-to-end pipeline development - ingest, transform, serve.
• DBT test authoring and semantic model design.
• Power BI reports against a semantic model.

• Implement and operationalize dataset certification framework - DBT test suite, CI/CD gate, schema change alerting.

• Contribute to Power BI report delivery and semantic model design across report batches.
• Implement reverse ETL delta enhancement - CDC-based push to Cosmos DB.
• Author pipeline runbooks and full handoff documentation for client team.

Job description

CTG is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our team. The Senior DE will work alongside the SA on a full-stack IAM data engagement. Same broad coverage - pipelines, governance, BI - with deep hands-on ownership of the engineering track. Expected to operate independently on complex pipeline builds and contribute equally to analytics and reporting delivery.

Responsibilities

• Build and certify identity source pipelines: AD LDAP (Bronze to Gold), Entra Event Hub ETL, SailPoint history recovery and CDC assessment
• Implement and operationalize dataset certification framework - DBT test suite, CI/CD gate, schema change alerting
• Support SCD 2 completion and Gold layer fact table validation in coordination with Mayo data engineering team
• Contribute to Power BI report delivery and semantic model design across all three report batches
• Implement reverse ETL delta enhancement - CDC-based push to Cosmos DB, replacing current full primary key scan
• Build contract schema registry with version-aware drift detection and migration window support
• Author pipeline runbooks and full handoff documentation for client team

Required

Strong Plus

• Active Directory / LDAP query and pipeline experience
• Cosmos DB or NoSQL serving layer
• SailPoint or IGA source system familiarity
• Debezium, DataStream, or Pub/Sub
• Terraform / infrastructure-as-code
• Private networking constraints on GCP or Azure

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $80.00 to $85.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
