Job summary

Verisign seeks a Director of Identity and Access Management Engineering to lead the strategy, architecture, delivery, operations, and improvement of the enterprise IAM program. You will oversee PAM, IGA, access management, MFA, and related services across on-premises, cloud, and SaaS.

You will manage teams, drive vendor relations, and ensure secure, scalable IAM solutions with strong collaboration across engineering, security, and leadership. Hybrid work in Reston, VA is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or related discipline.
• 15+ years of IAM, security engineering, or related roles with team leadership.
• 6+ years of people management experience.
• Hands-on experience implementing, integrating, and operating IAM platforms across on-premises, cloud, and SaaS.

Responsibilities

• Lead IAM strategy, architecture, and roadmap aligned with security and business objectives.
• Oversee implementation, operation, and continuous improvement of IAM platforms including PAM, IGA, access management, MFA.
• Establish architecture standards for secure, scalable IAM across environments.
• Lead and develop IAM teams, provide coaching and technical direction across engineering, delivery, and operations.
• Manage IAM budgets, vendor relationships, and platform selections.
