Skechers USA Ltd. in Southern California is seeking an IAM Engineer to strengthen authentication and authorization across our global environment.

You will design and operate secure IAM solutions and help ensure access is appropriate and timely. The role emphasizes staying ahead of threat actor techniques, evaluating new technologies, building joiner/mover/leaver workflows, and collaborating with business and IT teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with authentication/authorization solutions and directory platforms.
• Experience with identity security solutions (e.g., CyberArk, Delinea, Duo, Okta).
• Hands-on with enterprise identity platforms like Okta or Microsoft Entra ID and AD.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and IaaS authentication.
• Strong understanding of protocols (NTLM, Kerberos, SAML, OIDC, FIDO2, WebAuthn).

Responsibilities

• Assist design and implementation of security-focused IAM solutions (PAM, MFA, JIT, vaulting).
• Provide guidance on secure authentication methods and requirements.
• Pilot emerging IAM technologies and modernize authentication processes.
• Improve joiner/mover/leaver workflows with process and system owners.
• Identify risks and weak configurations in current environments and new proposals.
• Lead projects related to core authentication systems and secure initiatives.
• Collaborate with business, infrastructure, cloud, and development teams to ensure consistency.
• Stay updated on threat actor tools and IAM capabilities.
• Automate IAM tasks using scripting, APIs, and workflow tools.
