Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an IAM Engineer to join a top utility client in the Midwest. You will support enterprise IAM initiatives, focusing on identity governance, user lifecycle management, privileged access, and authentication services across Windows and Linux environments.

You will partner with Cybersecurity and Infrastructure teams to design, implement, and maintain IAM solutions that strengthen security while improving user experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of cybersecurity experience with a focus on IAM.
• Hands-on experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ.
• Experience supporting SSO, SAML, and ADFS authentication technologies.
• Experience administering or supporting PAM/PIM solutions.
• Experience working in both Windows and Linux environments.
• Experience with Active Directory, LDAP, and identity integrations.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• 3-5+ years of cybersecurity or IAM experience.
• Domain Administration experience.
• Experience with Entra ID (Azure AD), Conditional Access, MFA, and identity governance.
• Experience with identity connectors (AD, LDAP, JDBC, REST, SOAP).
• Experience with IAM/PAM platforms such as BeyondTrust, One Identity, CyberArk.
• Scripting experience with PowerShell, Python, C#, or .NET.
• Experience with RBAC and Identity Governance frameworks.
• Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, CCSP, GICSP, or related credentials.
• Cloud experience within Azure, AWS, or GCP environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and support IAM solutions enterprise-wide.
• Manage user lifecycle processes including provisioning and de-provisioning, access reviews, and role management.
• Support SailPoint IdentityIQ and related identity governance technologies.
• Configure and troubleshoot SSO, SAML, ADFS, and federation services.
• Administer and support PAM/PIM platforms and privileged accounts controls.
• Troubleshoot password rotation, onboarding, authentication, and directory integrations.
• Integrate IAM solutions with AD, LDAP, cloud platforms, and third-party apps.
• Support Entra ID services including MFA and Conditional Access.
• Develop and execute testing plans for IAM implementations, enhancements, and upgrades.
• Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to strengthen identity-based security controls and compliance initiatives.
