Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking a security-minded IAM Engineer to design and manage authentication controls for enterprise and FedRAMP environments.

You will implement federation, governance, and privileged access across Azure AD, Okta, SailPoint, Active Directory, and Duo, while supporting secure access for a large user base. You will mentor peers, build cross-team relationships, and serve as an expert in SAS/FedRAMP compliant identity services, including on-call rotations and production support

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required due to US Government contractual requirements.
• Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of related experience, or Master's 3 years, or PhD with 0 years.
• Requires working knowledge of primary technical family and current technologies; preferred qualifications vary by team.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage authentication controls including federation, identity governance, and privileged access across multiple systems.
• Configure and administer Okta integrations and authentication architecture (SSO, policies, MFA, IdP federation).
• Own Duo platform administration including MFA policy management and device trust.
• Manage identity services across commercial and FedRAMP boundary tenants with proper data segregation and security compliance.
• Troubleshoot production environment issues and participate in FedRAMP audit activities to gather IAM control evidence.
• Perform identity lifecycle operations across Azure AD, Okta, SailPoint, and Active Directory.
