Job summary

Virtual, Inc. seeks a senior Identity & Access Management Architect Consultant to assess usability friction across tools and workflows and deliver practical, secure improvements.

You will connect stakeholder feedback to process, data, architecture, and identity constraints while delivering a prioritized roadmap for leadership and engineering teams. The role blends UX research, service design, and technical IAM expertise, with a focus on defining near-term changes and a phased target-state

Qualifications

Senior consulting experience across complex digital services.
Strong user research, journey mapping, and usability evaluation skills.
Deep IAM architecture knowledge including SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC.
Experience with IAM platforms (Okta, Entra ID) and governance tools.
Ability to translate findings into delivery plans and roadmaps.
Excellent written and executive presentation capabilities.

Responsibilities

Lead UX and IAM assessments across ecosystems; map journeys and data flows.
Identify root causes and design future-state options with prototypes.
Develop a prioritized, phased IAM roadmap with ownership and estimates.
Collaborate with engineering, security, IT, and program teams for handoff.
