Job summary

GoJet Airlines is seeking licensed maintenance technicians in Houston, TX to perform inspections, repairs, and routine maintenance on our aircraft to ensure safety and performance. You will work with fellow technicians to troubleshoot issues, follow FAA regulations, and document all actions.

Qualified candidates hold an FAA A&P license, can travel freely in the U.S., and can lift heavy objects. Relocation support and experience bonuses are available to join our dynamic maintenance team.

Qualifications

• Must hold an FAA Airframe and Power Plant license.
• Legal right to work in the United States and travel freely.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to operate company vehicles and equipment with no restrictions.
• Must be able to provide your own tools.
• DOT pre-employment drug test.
• TSA fingerprint check for Criminal History Records.
• Must be able to work any shift.
• Must read and converse fluently in English.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Able to stand for extended periods.
• Able to climb stairs, ladders, and work platforms.
• Able to kneel, bend, and sit.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft, including engines, landing gear, avionics, and other critical components.
• Conduct thorough inspections to identify and address potential issues before they become problems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems, using technical manuals and diagnostic equipment.
• Repair or replace defective parts, ensuring all work complies with regulations and standards.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with FAA regulations and company policies; document work performed and inspections.

LOCATION - HOUSTON, TX

The GoJet Airlines' A&P Maintenance Team plays a vital role in ensuring the safety of our passengers and is a key driver of the airline's operational performance. We are looking for highly qualified, Licensed Mechanic Technicians to fill positions at our Dulles International Airport Line Maintenance Base. As an A&P Licensed Maintenance Technician at GoJet Airlines, you will be responsible for the inspection, repair, and maintenance of our aircraft to ensure they meet the highest standards of safety and performance. You will work closely with other maintenance personnel to troubleshoot and resolve issues, perform routine inspections, and comply with all regulatory requirements.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Conduct thorough inspections to identify and address potential issues before they become problems.
• Troubleshooting and Repairs:
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems, using technical manuals and sophisticated diagnostic equipment.
• Repair or replace defective parts, ensuring all work is completed to regulatory and company standards.
• Compliance and Documentation:
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with FAA regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
• Accurately document all maintenance work performed, including parts used, repairs completed, and inspections conducted.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Work closely with other maintenance technicians, engineers, and flight operations personnel to ensure seamless and efficient aircraft operations.
• Provide clear and concise communication regarding maintenance issues and status updates.

Pay

• Up to $2,500 in Relocation Expenses
• $3,500 Experience Bonus
• Industry leading pay scale
• $26.71/hr - $49.20/hr
• Additional $6/hr for licensed A&P experience
