ExxonMobil in Wyoming seeks an I&E Technician to monitor and maintain instrumentation and electrical systems across CO2 facilities and wells. You will read P&IDs, work with SCADA and PLCs, and ensure safe, compliant operations. A strong background in electrical equipment and SAP will support the role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and an associate degree or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience as an I&E Technician preferred.
• Knowledge of pumps and compressors driven by electric motors.
• Ability to read P&IDs and electrical schematics.
• Basic understanding of SCADA systems and PLC programming.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license and pass background check.

• Ensure operations comply with company policies and governing agencies.
• Monitor and maintain instrumentation and electrical systems at CO2 facilities and related sites.
• Review and analyze problems with electrical and instrumentation equipment.
• Work in SAP or equivalent asset management systems.

What Role You Will Play On Our Team

• Ensure that operations under their control or supervision comply with Company policies and governing agencies.
• Responsible for monitoring and maintaining the instrumentation and electrical systems associated with the CO2 production facilities, compressor stations, dehydration units, test sites, and wells.
• Competent knowledge of various pumps and compressors that are driven mainly with electric motors.
• Review and analyze problems associated with electrical and instrumentation equipment.
• Work in an enterprise asset management system like SAP
• Recognize potential hazards to operations and protect both human beings and equipment.
• Ability to read PIDs and electrical schematics
• Basic understanding of SCADA systems
• Good understanding of and programming of PLC equipment

• Mandatory callout schedule
• Competent in all areas and capable of handling most problems except those requiring engineering assistance
• Basic computer skills - Microsoft Office, etc.
• Have and Maintain a valid driver\'s license and ability to meet background check requirements.
