Job summary

ONEOK, Inc. seeks an Instrumentation and Electrical Technician Intern to support maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of instrumentation and electrical systems. The role is on-site in Oklahoma and offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced midstream environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with SCADA, DCS/PLC systems, and OT networks, while learning to document maintenance and safety records. Entry-level candidate with safety mindset encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; must be at least 18 years old.
• Currently enrolled in a relevant technical or related program preferred.
• Basic understanding of instrumentation and electrical principles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, operation, and maintenance of instrumentation such as transmitters and gas detectors.
• Maintain ESD and safety interlock systems with scheduled testing.
• Support maintenance of analytical equipment, SCADA systems, RTUs, DCS, and PLC systems.
• Maintain OT networks and network equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and analytical testing on compressors, engines, and related equipment.
• Maintain low and medium voltage electrical power circuits and switchgear.
• Prepare reports and records including maintenance logs and environmental reports.
