Tessenderlo Kerley, Inc. is seeking an experienced I&E Technician to join our Fresno, California operations team.

This role focuses on troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repair of instrumentation and electrical systems to keep the plant running safely and efficiently in an outdoor environment. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED with relevant technical training, the ability to read schematics, strong analytical and communication skills, and be comfortable working

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; degree in Electrical/Instrumentation & Control preferred.
• Verifiable technical training and work experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and manuals.
• Strong troubleshooting, mechanical and analytical skills.
• Solid communication skills and basic computer literacy

Responsibilities

• Lead troubleshooting and repair of complex instrumentation and electrical systems across the plant.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a variety of plant equipment.
• Handle hazardous waste in accordance with OSHA, EPA, RCRA, DOT and HAZWOPER guidelines.
• Maintain inventory for process equipment and ensure parts availability.
• Support site projects including turnarounds, confined space entry and lockout/tagout.
• Conduct vessel inspections and keep maintenance areas clean and organized.
• Participate in emergency response efforts and implement response plans as needed.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions and maintain a strong presence in the plant’s safety program.
