Job summary

Tessenderlo Kerley, Inc. is seeking an I&E Technician in Fresno, California. This role involves troubleshooting and repairing complex instrumentation and electrical systems, ensuring the safety of operations, and participating in emergency response efforts. The ideal candidate will hold a high school diploma or GED, with a preference for a degree in Electrical/Instrumentation & Control.

We offer a competitive hourly wage of up to $43.63 based on experience, along with a range of benefits including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Verifiable technical training and work experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Lead troubleshooting and repair of complex instrumentation and electrical systems across the plant.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a variety of plant equipment.
• Handle hazardous waste in accordance with OSHA, EPA, RCRA, DOT and HAZWOPER guidelines.
• Maintain inventory for process equipment and ensure parts availability.
• Support site projects including turnarounds, confined space entry and lockout/tagout.
• Conduct vessel inspections and keep maintenance areas clean and organized.
• Participate in emergency response efforts and implement response plans as needed.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions and maintain a strong presence in the plant’s safety program.
