Air Liquide Large Industries provides our customers with industrial gas and energy solutions vital to their production. We operate over 2,000 miles of pipelines in the U.S., supplying oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen, and syngas to industries such as chemicals, petrochemicals, refining, and steel. Our operations are monitored 24/7 from our control center in Houston, Texas, overseeing over 89,000 data points to ensure reliable and efficient supply, supporting customer growth.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

Air Liquide Large Industries (ALLIUS) is seeking an I&E Technician for the Bayport Complex. Responsibilities include:

  • Participate in safety programs and comply with all policies.
  • Oversee instrumentation and electrical work with contractors, ensuring quality.
  • Mentor apprentices and participate in root cause analyses.
  • Execute work orders, identify and manage critical equipment and spare parts.
  • Maintain calibration, records, and schematics.
  • Troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation issues promptly.
  • Manage contractors during major turnarounds.
  • Support operational and maintenance activities, including call-outs, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Are you a MATCH?

Required qualifications include:

  • High school diploma; technical training or associate degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of I&E experience preferred.
  • Experience with instrumentation, controls, analyzers, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of DCS controls, MCC/switchgear safety, and emergency procedures.
  • Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and work off elevated surfaces.
  • Valid employment authorization in the U.S. without visa sponsorship needed.
