Job summary

Dyno Nobel, Inc. is building a brand-new TNT manufacturing plant in Kentucky and seeks an I&E Technician to support commissioning and startup. You will maintain, repair, and upgrade electrical/instrument equipment, ensuring code compliance and safety throughout the project lifecycle.

The role requires 5+ years of I&E experience, SAP familiarity, and a strong safety mindset. On-site duties include collaboration with maintenance teams and participation in turnarounds and projects at the new

Qualifications

• Technical college training or equivalent in I&E with plant experience
• 5+ years of I&E experience
• Repair, maintain and install electrical and instrumentation equipment while following NFPA 70E
• Manage equipment maintenance history and SAP work orders
• Document parts and supplies usage for inventory control
• Safe operation of I&E shop equipment and tools
• Willingness to work overtime and be on call
• Must pass ATF background check for explosives
• Positive attitude and team player

What You'll Do:

As an I & E Technician, you will maintain, repair, troubleshoot, or replace electrical and instrument equipment as needed. You will be responsible for performing new construction and/or modification in conformance with electrical code requirements. Maintains safe working conditions and promotes personnel safety. • Live and foster the Dyno Nobel Corporate Values
• Recommend repairs or modifications to equipment.
• Assist in the solicitation of bids for materials and service work on equipment.
• Prepares and maintains records and reports.
• Assists in developing and maintaining preventative maintenance program to provide reliability to plant equipment.
• Assists in the development and training of maintenance personnel.
• Promotes a team-oriented environment.
• Communicates critical findings to Maintenance manager
• Attends meetings related to maintenance, such as turnarounds and specific projects.

We're Looking For:

• Technical College or equivalent training in the I&E field or relevant plant experience
• 5+ years of experience in the I&E field
• Repair, maintain and install electrical and Instrumentation equipment, while maintaining the NFPA 70E code.
• Manage equipment maintenance history and work orders in SAP to assure timely maintenance task completion.
• Document parts and supplies usage to assure parts and supplies are readily available.
• Safe operation of I&E shop equipment and tools.
• Willingness to work overtime and be on call as required.
• Must be willing to undergo and pass an ATF background check as required to be a possessor of explosives.
• Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and team player.
