Responsibilities
- You will perform instrumentation, electrical, and mechanical maintenance activities to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain facility equipment in a safe and reliable manner
- Troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate instrumentation and electrical systems, including low-voltage electrical equipment (up to 600V), transmitters, PLCs, temperature and flow measurement devices, and process analyzers
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment and systems to ensure optimal plant performance and reliability
- Further, you will troubleshoot, disassemble, repair, and reassemble rotating equipment and mechanical systems, including pumps, compressors, gearboxes, bearings, seals, gears, and related components
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, measurement devices, and machine tools to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation issues
- Read and interpret equipment manuals, drawings, blueprints, switchgear drawings (SWDs), and electrical one-line diagrams to support maintenance and repair activities
- Follow all SMPs, SOPs, safety policies, and procedures while maintaining compliance with company standards and regulations
- And you will utilize CMMS systems to plan, schedule, execute, and document maintenance activities, including parts procurement, work coordination, and completion of required documentation
- Perform repairs on mechanical piping systems, including threaded and welded pipe applications
- Support plant startup and shutdown activities and document all predictive and corrective maintenance work
- And you will supervise contractor activities and ensure compliance with all safety requirements and work practices
- Collaborate closely with technicians and operations personnel at the Hawkins, Garland, and Fort Worth facilities, providing support at other locations as needed
What Makes You Great
- You have a High School Diploma; Associate degree is preferred
- More than three (3+) years of experience in an industrial manufacturing, production, maintenance, or processing environment
- Instrumentation and Electrical (I&E) experience or certification preferred, with mechanical maintenance experience or aptitude considered a strong plus
- You have experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial electrical, instrumentation, and mechanical systems
- Welding and HVAC experience are beneficial
- Strong computer skills with the ability to utilize maintenance systems, documentation tools, and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented, 24/7 industrial operation
- You have willingness to participate in an on‑call rotation and respond to operational or maintenance issues as needed
- Ability and willingness to travel periodically for training and development opportunities
