Job summary

A leading producer of chemical intermediates in Port Neches, Texas is seeking an experienced Instrument and Electrical Maintenance Engineer. This role involves providing specialized engineering support, ensuring compliance with standards, and collaborating with teams to enhance equipment reliability. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and have 0-2 years of relevant experience. Qualifications

• 0-2 years of I&E Maintenance or Reliability Engineering experience required, with 5 years preferred.
• Must have or be able to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
• Basic understanding of engineering, purchasing, accounting, and construction practices.

Responsibilities

• Offer technical support for electrical and instrumentation maintenance.
• Participate in the development and implementation of the RCM Asset Management Plan.
• Lead or contribute to incident investigations and documentation.

Skills

Proficiency in Internet, Email, and Microsoft Office programs

Excellent communication and documentation skills

Knowledge of control systems

Willingness and ability to learn on the job
