Title:

I Corps - Administrative Coordinator

Position Summary:

The administrative coordinator will serve as a post-award administrator for an MNAPISI grant. The coordinator will work closely with the PIs, collaborators, and participants involved in the grant.

Essential Functions:
  1. Recruit participants and facilitate training programs for I-Corps research translation and commercialization of technology.
  2. Monitor purchases, requisitions, and travel reimbursements.
  3. Assess project expenditures.
  4. Assist PIs in meeting grant requirements.
  5. Coordinate reports, monitor report due dates, and assist in submitting documentation.
  6. Coordinate projects and grant-related activities.
  7. Collaborate with internal units to reserve rooms.
  8. Collect data from program participants to support performance evaluation.
  9. Maintain records of post-award activities, including meetings and minutes.
  10. Conduct outreach, marketing, and recruitment for program components.
  11. Organize meetings and maintain action item lists.
Additional Functions:
  • Upload data into Cornerstone.
  • Ensure full compliance with the terms of the award.
Prerequisite Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • At the university's discretion, education and experience prerequisites may be waived if the candidate can demonstrate an equivalent combination of education and experience that prepares them for success in the role.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior I-Corps experience.
  • Advanced degree with academic innovation experience.
  • Experience working in STEM higher education environments.
