Job summary

Westinghouse Electric's WECTEC Staffing Services is seeking an I&C/Testing Supervisor to lead technicians onsite in Bridgman, MI for a short-term refueling outage. The position reports to the client management team within Projects and runs from early September to mid-October, with duties spanning testing and implementation oversight.

Responsibilities include directing technicians, ensuring safety and quality, reviewing work packages, training personnel, and coordinating with management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of supervision or oversight experience
• I&C experience
• Previous client site experience
• Residence within 50 miles of Bridgman, MI
• Be able to pass criminal background, drug/alcohol screen (including medical and recreational marijuana and CBD oil), and employment testing

Responsibilities

• Directing technicians and all work activities
• Ensuring that all work performed by technicians is completed safely, thoroughly and without error following the work packages, drawings, specifications, procedures and standards
• Ensuring that work packages are reviewed and walked down before beginning work and that the work packages are sufficiently completed and closed out
• Ensuring that all personnel are trained and qualified to perform the work assigned
• Being the primary contact between management and other work groups related to the work that is being performed
• Perform pre job briefs before work start
• Manage P6 scheduled work - communicate daily updates
