Job summary

Cordia Energy Center in Pittsburgh is seeking an I&C Technician I to support electrical and instrumentation systems, including boilers, chillers, VFDs, and meters. You will calibrate, install, troubleshoot, and maintain I&C equipment while coordinating schedules and budgets across departments.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in industrial plant electrical troubleshooting, strong MS Office skills, and experience leading maintenance staff within a union framework.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Minimum 3 years industrial plant electrical troubleshooting and maintenance with supervisory and project management experience.
• Experience leading maintenance staff and coordinating safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Organize, prioritize, and perform work relative to electrical circuits/systems (both high and low voltage), pneumatic, metering and fittings.
• Calibrate, catalog, install, program and troubleshoot instrumentation/control components.
• Inspect, design, retrofit, and test I&C systems within the plant and at customer locations.
• Install thermal utility revenue and metering at plant and customer locations.
• Schedule and co-ordinate all jobs and assist with operating and capital budgets with other departments.
• Supervise and safety train contractors and participate in Cordia's Safety Program.
