NES Fircroft seeks an I&C Commissioning Superintendent to lead field commissioning on a major data center campus build. The role covers pre‑commissioning through turnover for instrumentation, controls, and BMS/EPMS interfaces, on-site.

Openings are contract-in-W2 with 40 hours weekly and potential OT; start is late November 2026. The candidate will supervise subcontractors and coordinate with MEP, electrical, and BAS/BMS teams.

I&C Commissioning Superintendent — Data Center Build (On-site) NES Fircroft is hiring an I&C Commissioning Superintendent to support commissioning delivery on a major data center campus build. This is a hands‑on field leadership role focused on pre‑commissioning through turnover for the instrumentation, controls, and BMS/EPMS interfaces.

Schedule: 40 hrs/weekwith OT
Start: Late November 2026

What you’ll do

• Lead field commissioning execution for I&C / controls scope from pre-comms to turnover
• Drive system walkdowns, test readiness, constraints removal, and daily commissioning planning
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors / craft and interface with Construction, QA/QC, and Commissioning leads
• Oversee loop checks, point-to-point, functional testing support, and commissioning documentation completion
• Manage turnover packages, punchlist items, redlines/as-builts support, and acceptance tracking
• Interface with OEMs/vendors and cross-discipline partners (MEP, electrical, BAS/BMS) to close issues and maintain schedule
• Champion site safety and quality standards while pushing commissioning milestones

What we’re looking for

• Proven superintendent-level leadership on large projects with significant I&C / controls scope
• Strong working knowledge of common controls/instrumentation documentation (e.g., P&IDs, loop diagrams, wiring/termination schedules, control schematics, instrument index)
• Experience supporting/leading commissioning activities such as pre-comms, loop checks, functional testing, and turnover readiness
• Strong subcontractor management, coordination, and field reporting skills

Nice to have

• Data center commissioning exposure (BMS/EPMS integration awareness is a plus)
• PLC / DCS / SCADA familiarity (hands‑on programming not required)
