Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking an Electrician / E&I Technician for an on-site role at Silver Peak, NV. You will work in a heavy industrial setting, performing instrumentation and electrical troubleshooting, calibration, and control system support.

The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years of E&I experience in industrial environments, proficiency with test equipment (DVM, megger, calibrators, amp meters, HART), and reading schematics, P&IDs, and loop diagrams.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years' experience as an E&I Technician in an industrial environment.
• Proficient with test equipment: DVM, megger, loop/temp calibrators, amp meters, and HART communicators
• Ability to read electrical schematics, loop diagrams, and P&IDs
• Experience with temperature, pressure, flow, level, conductivity, density, and pH instrumentation
• Strong knowledge of control valves, valve positioners, and gas-fired BMS systems (Honeywell, Fireye)
• Experience with 480V+ MCCs, switchgear, and VFDs (ABB, Allen-Bradley, Yaskawa), including troubleshooting, wiring, and programming
• Working knowledge of PLC and DCS systems
• Familiarity with SAP preferred

• 10-hour days

Key Requirements

• 3-5+ years' experience as an E&I Technician in an industrial environment


• Proficient with test equipment: DVM, megger, loop/temp calibrators, amp meters, and HART communicators

• Experience with temperature, pressure, flow, level, conductivity, density, and pH instrumentation


• Strong knowledge of control valves, valve positioners, and gas-fired BMS systems (Honeywell, Fireye)


• Experience with 480V+ MCCs, switchgear, and VFDs (ABB, Allen-Bradley, Yaskawa), including troubleshooting, wiring, and programming
