Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking an I&C Process Engineer II to support Systems Engineering processes on large-scale projects at the Warrendale, PA facility. You will apply configuration management, requirements management, and V&V principles across multiple systems, coordinating design activities across multidisciplinary teams.

You will report to the Supervisor, Systems Engineering & Requirement Management and work on a hybrid basis in Warrendale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline (Electrical Engineering preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with complex I&C systems (preferred).
• Understanding of configuration management, requirements management, and V&V concepts (preferred).
• Knowledge of statistics and data analysis (preferred).
• Proficient with data entry and database management.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and coordinate external support.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain integrated systems engineering processes and tools for assigned projects.
• Support configuration management and requirements management activities.
• Assist in verification and validation planning and execution.
• Prepare reports on design changes, metrics, and configuration control activities.
• Provide labor and cost estimates for project scopes.
• Facilitate technical discussions between cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Communicate analyses, results, and implementation plans effectively in both written and verbal formats.
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships by addressing concerns and delivering solutions.
