You will prepare drawings, BOMs, and specifications, collaborate with manufacturing and suppliers, perform circuit analyses, and contribute to qualification testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 0–3 years of engineering experience.
• Knowledge of analog and digital circuit analysis/design.
• Awareness of field devices and control devices typical to the power industry.
• Awareness of standard drawings including schematics, cabinet drawings and panel layouts.
• Experience in AutoCAD/3D Modeling software.
• As part of a team including engineering, testing, manufacturing, supply chain management, and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Issue drawings, bill of materials and technical specifications for I&C Safety System products.
• Compile technical and quality documentation for procurement, testing and manufacturing of Safety System hardware products.
• Develop engineered solutions and part change evaluations to address obsolescence issues for several electrical products.
• Communicate with suppliers or manufacturing facilities to support technical issue resolution.
• Help develop equipment qualification test procedures during testing, evaluate test results and review final reports.
• Provide engineering support to customers, suppliers, manufacturing, and shop operations for a variety of products.
• Perform engineering calculations to support design or analysis of products.
• Build assignments independently within project schedule and budgetary requirements.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of assigned tasks.
