Job summary

Riley Power group, LLC in Waterford, CT is hiring an I&C Coordinator to lead electrical and instrumentation activities on industrial projects. The role requires strong supervision, field coordination with site teams, and timely documentation of work orders and punch items.

The successful candidate brings 5+ years in I&C and management, RO/SRO certification, excellent communication, and ability to interpret safety procedures and technical drawings. On-site work with travel as needed.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of related experience (Management).
  • RO or SRO L/Cert (including 5+ years of I&C experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in I&C (Certified/Qualified).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, proficient with personal computer (e.g. P6 or equivalent).
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct supervision over site supervisors on project or team.
  • Coordinate with Site Plan of the Day (POD) and start Work Orders after clearance.
  • Verify and approve all seat acceptance checks (blue, paper, etc.).
  • Resolve production issues, schedule adherence, and delays.
  • Interface with site management and scheduling teams to identify and address problems.

W e are currently hiring a skilled I&C Coordinator for multiple positions in the US . Essential Functions of this position may include but are not limited to:

  • Provide direct supervision over supervisors on project or team.

  • Perform Work in accordance with the Site Plan of the Day (POD)

  • Verify and approve all (100%) seat acceptance checks (blue, paper, etc.)

  • Resolve production issues , schedule adherence, and delays.

  • Ensure Site Operations Department approval to start each Work Order after clearance is issued.

  • Coordinate with support groups for scaffolding, insulation, clearances, etc.

  • Identify areas where additional technical direction or resources are required .

  • Verify clearances are adequate to schedule activities prior to job starts .

  • Interface with site management and scheduling teams to ensure problems are properly identified and addressed .

  • Ensure that all Work Order documentation is completed in a timely manner after work completion as specified by Purchaser.

Qualification, education, and experience requirements:

  • 5 or more years of related experience (Management)

  • RO or SRO L/Cert (including 5 plus years of I&C experience)

  • 5 or more years of experience in I&C (Certified/Qualified)

  • Excellent verbal and written communication, proficient with personal computer ( ie P6 or equivalent) , able to operate various instrumentation and controls, excellent in problem solving.

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

Successful candidate must possess the willingness and ability to complete and pass all pre-employment and employment screening requirements which may include but are not limited to: P ractical skills, othermedical, psychological (if required by site) , background and substance abuse screening(s).

Physical Requirements

Lifting objects weighing 50 pounds to waist height and transporting a distance of 10 feet.

Citizenship/ Work Authorization Requirements

Must be a citizen of the US, its possessions or territories, or lawful permanent resident as defined by USC 1101(a)(20), or protected individual as defined by USC 1324b(a)(3)
