Hyundai CRADLE Investment Specialist
The Investment Specialist for Hyundai CRADLE Silicon Valley will be part of a team of dedicated investment professionals engaged in corporate venture activities covering North America.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with external partners and Hyundai Motor Group (HMG) executives and teams, including Hyundai Motor Company’s Innovation Division. Your focus will be to connect HMG with start-up ecosystems and build a diverse portfolio of partnerships to drive innovation and future business opportunities for HMG.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Assist in portfolio divestment processes and exit strategies.
- Conduct portfolio monitoring activities.
- Help generate investment presentations and supporting materials.
- Assist in communications with HQ partners.
- Create industry and technological trend reports to identify shifts and opportunities for innovation.
- Research, source, and analyze potential investment opportunities.
- Facilitate internal and external events.
- Plan and execute technology assessments and projects for portfolio companies.
- Manage a database of leads and deals to track prospective companies.
- Coordinate with internal teams to facilitate collaboration agreements such as PoCs, technology assessments, joint development, licensing, etc.
- Work with the Innovation Division to identify technology opportunities and support new business models.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Financial analysis skills for portfolio management and startup evaluation.
- Understanding of shareholder resolutions.
- Experience with portfolio divestment.
- Knowledge of automotive, manufacturing, energy storage, or robotics technologies is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (for HATCI applicants).
