Becton, Dickinson and Company is seeking a Hypo North Production Associate to operate production lines in a clean room environment and perform quality checks on products. The role requires upholding GMP standards, performing changeovers, and entering SAP/MES data for the department.

Strong teamwork and a willingness to learn are essential, with emphasis on safe operation and adherence to BD safety regulations. This is a full-time on-site manufacturing position in Columbus, NE.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED preferred; two years manufacturing experience accepted in lieu.
• Manufacturing experience and MES familiarity preferred.
• Able to perform quality checks and operate production equipment.
• Willingness to learn SAP/MES data entries and maintain documentation.

Position Summary

Responsible for operating equipment in department safe l y and producing quality products per documentation. Perform quality checks, changeovers, SAP data entries, and basic troubleshooting. E nsures compliance with BD quality systems, policies, procedures and best practices, and all local, state, federal and BD safety regulations, policies and procedures. Regular, punctual attendance is an essential job function. Willing and able to uphold BD Values.

Duties/Responsibilities

Work as one of a team for maximum effectiveness and optimal task methods, which includes product inspection, operating equipment, raw material and finished goods movements and clean room area and equipment cleaning / sanitizingPerform visual inspectionsPerform basic troubleshooting of equipmentPerform changeovers, line clearance and cleaningAchieve production rate and quality goals on assigned equipmentFacilitate continuous operation of the equipment through breaksPerform reworkCross train where needed within the department to support the businessMaintain all quality and GMP standardsPerform needed SAP data entriesMay require the use of 10x microscope, calipers, and/ or other miscellaneous gaugesParticipate on blitz teams as assignedAchieving established production goalsEnsuring the quality of all product producedPerforming quality checks as designatedAbility to function as part of a teamProcessing SAP and MES transactions for departmentAssisting in the BDA process to identify root causesMaintain compliance with all required document trainingOperate lines in a safe and efficient mannerDrive department results by reducing downtime and completing tasks in an efficient mannerMaximize efficient time usage in the departmentOther duties as required to support the needs of the business

Education

High School diploma/GED preferredIn lieu of High School diploma/GED, two years manufacturing experience is required

Experience

Previous manufacturing experience preferredPrevious experience with MES preferredPrevious experience with precision measuring instruments preferred
