Job summary

PeopleTec, Inc. in Huntsville, AL is seeking an M&S Engineer to support trajectory analysis, flight test modeling, and software development for hypersonics programs. The engineer will engage in mission and flight planning, flight test, and post-test data analysis in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering with 5–8+ years of modeling, simulation, and aerospace experience and an active DoD Secret clearance. U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering or related field and 5–8+ years of progressively complex experience in modeling and simulation, software, aerospace systems, and/or flight testing.
• A relevant master’s degree may substitute for two years of experience.
• A relevant PhD may substitute for three years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Support flight test planning, test execution, and data analysis.
• Develop and maintain modeling and simulation tools to support trajectory feasibility analyses for hypersonic platforms.
• Decompose customer requirements into tasks for engineering and software teams and track progress.
• Collaborate in a fast-paced, cross-functional DoD program environment.
