Job summary

PeopleTec, Inc. in Huntsville, AL seeks a Mechanical / Aerospace Engineer to join our growing team. You will contribute to hypersonics, flight testing, missile defense, and weapon systems projects with a strong focus on trajectory analysis and model development.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on experience in trajectory analysis, modeling, and data-driven decision making, supported by software skills in C++, C#, Python, and MATLAB. US citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering or related field; 5–8+ years of progressively complex experience in modeling and simulation, software, aerospace systems, and/or flight testing.
• Master’s degree may substitute for two years of experience; PhD for three years.
• Experience with flight test planning, test execution, and post test data analysis is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and analyze flight tests to support hypersonic programs.
• Develop modeling and simulations to analyze trajectory feasibility for hypersonic platforms.
• Support weapon testing in austere locations during planning and execution phases.
• Decompose customer requirements into measurable tasks for engineering and software teams.
• Communicate technical approaches and findings clearly to team and government customers.
