Job summary

Inversion, headquartered in Playa Vista, CA, seeks an Avionics Integration and Test Technician to install, integrate, test, and troubleshoot flight avionics hardware for the Arc hypersonic vehicle. The role requires hands-on electrical craftsmanship and experience with wiring, schematics, and integration campaigns.

You will work closely with avionics engineers, manufacturing, and vehicle teams, performing rigorous testing, documenting procedures, and ensuring flight-ready electrical systems for

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years hands-on avionics experience in integration, electrical assembly or related high-reliability environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Hands-on with wire prep, crimping, soldering, and harness fabrication/repair.
• Experience using electrical test equipment (DMMs, oscilloscopes, power supplies, etc.).
• Ability to troubleshoot and isolate faults in hardware and harnesses.
• Familiarity with ESD controls and clean build environments.
• Excellent documentation and safe-work habits.
• Able to work non-standard shifts and lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Install, integrate, test, and troubleshoot flight avionics hardware on the Arc vehicle.
• Execute build and test procedures; support HIL and vehicle integration campaigns.
• Collaborate with avionics engineers, manufacturing, and vehicle teams to deliver flight-ready systems.
