Job summary

INSPYR Solutions is seeking a Data Center Technician in Eagan, MN to manage and expand GPU- and CPU-based server infrastructure in a hyperscale environment. You will rack, stack, cable, and upgrade thousands of servers, ensuring 99.99%+ uptime and rapid incident response.

The role requires hands-on experience with datacenter hardware, GPU cooling solutions, and collaboration across facilities, IT, and vendor teams. Direct Hire, full-time, onsite position.

Qualifications

• Four+ years in data center tech with racking, cabling, debugging, and upgrading thousands of servers.
• Experience deploying GPU-dense, liquid-cooled infrastructure.
• Ability to work in a 24×7 environment with uptime SLAs.
• Excellent communication, ability to work independently.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• US citizen, GC holder or authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain servers and network equipment, including rack & stack, cabling, and physical device configuration.
• Respond to server, network, and infrastructure issues.
• Coordinate power, cooling, and facility services with staff; escalate outages.
• Diagnose and repair hardware; replace components (CPU, memory, drives, motherboards, cables).
• Coordinate with warranty technicians to resolve issues promptly.
• Identify areas for efficiency improvements and develop corrective plans.
• Setup and document spare parts inventory.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve deployment efficiency, automation, and monitoring.
• Escalate issues to ensure prompt resolution with system admins.
