Job summary

LINX in Columbus, OH, seeks a Construction Safety Manager to lead and enforce safety across hyperscale data center projects, focusing on low-voltage cabling. The role requires 100% travel to Wyoming and nationwide locations, with company-covered travel expenses.

You will develop safety programs, perform risk assessments, conduct audits, and drive a proactive safety culture across multiple crews while ensuring compliance with OSHA, NEC, NFPA 70E, and client standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction safety experience.
• Certifications: STSC, CHST, CSP, OSHA 500/501.
• 3+ years of safety team management (min 5 direct reports).
• OSHA regulations and construction/telecom safety standards knowledge.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance oversight to a safety team (5+ coordinators).
• Oversee safety for all low-voltage cabling and hyperscale data center environments.
• Develop, implement, and improve safety manuals, policies, and procedures.
• Create Site Specific Safety Plans (SSSP) and Job Hazard Analyses (JHA).
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, NEC, NFPA 70E, TIA, BICSI and client standards.
• Deliver safety orientations and toolbox talks; OSHA 10/30 training.
• Oversee PPE selection, inspection, and equipment use.
• Collaborate with owners, GC and subcontractors; track safety KPIs; report trends.
