Job summary

Spencer Ogden is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Manager to lead design and technical delivery for hyperscale data center projects. The role focuses on liquid cooling, high-density GPU environments, and scalable mechanical infrastructure across the full lifecycle from concept to turnover.

Responsibilities include leading design strategy, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and driving standardisation and cost-effective solutions in complex environments.

Qualifications

• Experience in hyperscale or mission-critical data centers.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management across teams.
• Deep knowledge of cooling systems and thermal engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design strategy across hyperscale data center developments.
• Manage projects from concept through construction and commissioning.
• Oversee OFCI equipment specifications, vendor reviews and technical submittals.
• Provide expertise in liquid cooling, CFD and high-density compute.
• Coordinate across mechanical, electrical, controls, architecture and operations.
• Manage consultants, RFIs and design documentation.
• Support customer solutions, test fits, cost models and RFP responses.
• Drive standardisation, efficiency and risk reduction across projects.
