Job summary

VeloceHR is seeking a Senior Critical Facilities Lead for a hyperscale AI data center project with an on-site role in Indiana or Louisiana. You’ll own power and cooling infrastructure, act as the on-site SME for MEP systems, and help build the facilities team from the ground up.

Relocation support available, competitive base salary of 150k–225k USD plus equity and benefits, with a fast interview process. This hands-on role requires strong communication, ownership, and experience in data center

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience in data center critical facilities operations.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems (UPS, switchgear, generators, chillers, CRAH/CRAC, cooling).
• Experience with liquid cooling, commissioning, or new site builds is a big plus.
• Strong communication skills and a hands‑on, ownership mindset.
• Open to working on‑site in Indiana or Louisiana.

Responsibilities

• Power and cooling infrastructure, SME for MEP systems and liquid cooling environments.
• Tier 3 escalation point for technical issues.
• Building and mentoring the facilities team (4 senior/lead technicians to start).
• Site commissioning, operational readiness, and standards and processes from the ground up.
